I love that all of the political action groups that I belong to are sending me emails this week requesting that I send Thank You emails to President Obama for the policies that he is already putting into effect. After spending almost a decade sending letters, faxes and emails to the Bush Administration and my representatives begging them not to pass policies (like overturning Roe v. Wade and opening up additional national park land for drilling), it feels really nice to feel like the Government actually represents my interests.
